Hi I'm Andy or 'Anj' as my wife calls me

We live high in the hills above Clydach Gorge in the Brecon Beacons National Parks.

My work is always influenced by the natural imperfections that nature surrounds us with, and using Fallen or dead trees, I endeavour to create pieces that show their 'Organic Being' while maintaining an abstract form.

The idea for a piece often comes from the Wood itself, after De-barking i study the Grain , Splits and flaws then decide where to cut.

I use no measurement or plan , everything is shaped and sized by eye, this method helps me maintain the imperfect angles that create a tactile and individual Sculpture.
